During an event organised by the Centre Pompidou (Paris) in April 2016, French choreographer Anne Collod had a bright idea: to invite her senior American colleague Anna Halprin (95 years old) to redo her historic choreography Blank Placard Dance in the street. Created in 1967 in California, right in the midst of the Vietnam War, the piece continues to make a strong aesthetic and political impression, this time emerging smack in the middle of protests against the changes being made to the labour code.
