Beyond the entertaining aspect of weightless acrobatics, the desire to free oneself from the gravitational straitjacket suddenly takes on political overtones. Does refusing to remain nailed to the ground become a radical gesture of emancipation? Pierre Meunier is a playwright, actor and director with a hypersensitivity to gravity, also known as acute gravitationitis, striving to cure the persistent crushing sensation that has inhabited him since birth through theater, cinema and writing. He contributed to issues 4, 7, and 18 of Espace(s), the journal of the Observatoire de l’Espace.
