Christian Rinaudo

Christian Rinaudo is a sociologist, lecturer at the University of the Côte d'Azur and researcher at URMIS (Migration and Society Research Unit). His research interests include the production and expression of differences in the urban space, cultural dynamics in multi-ethnic societies and, in the context of globalization, migratory phenomena and processes of otherness. His current work focuses on the articulation between the dynamics of mobility/blockage of artists (tension between free movement and residency) and the processes of otherness in Europe. At the same time, he directs one of the components of the Côte d'Azur University, the Graduate School ODYSSEE (Origins and Dynamics in Social and Environmental Sciences), which analyses the relationship between society and the environment from the perspective of interdisciplinary reflections in social and environmental sciences.
