Emmanuelle Gall

Biography
Emmanuelle Gall holds degrees in classical literature and art history and has taught in various contexts, from secondary school to university (Paris VIII-Saint-Denis). At the same time, she became a journalist and art critic, with a predilection for collective practices, in public spaces and venues that are not specifically dedicated to art. After having contributed to several Parisian publications (Nova mag, Le Monde diplomatique, Télérama...), she moved to Marseille, where she became the editor-in-chief of the magazine 8e art. More recently, she has decided to devote herself to literary and artistic creation, through the writing of a novel and the design of an installation. In relation to her Caribbean origins, these two works in progress address transmission and multi-ethnic issues.
