Biography
Emmanuelle Gall holds degrees in classical literature and art history and has taught in various contexts, from secondary school to university (Paris VIII-Saint-Denis). At the same time, she became a journalist and art critic, with a predilection for collective practices, in public spaces and venues that are not specifically dedicated to art. After having contributed to several Parisian publications (
Nova mag, Le Monde diplomatique, Télérama...), she moved to Marseille, where she became the editor-in-chief of the magazine 8e art. More recently, she has decided to devote herself to literary and artistic creation, through the writing of a novel and the design of an installation. In relation to her Caribbean origins, these two works in progress address transmission and multi-ethnic issues.
